Week 13 of the 2017 NFL season gets back underway shortly with a jam-packed slate of games this Sunday. There are a whopping 14 contests on tap today, starting with a slew of 1 p.m. ET kickoffs and ending with the top matchup of the day, a Sunday Night Football affair between the Philadelphia Eagles and Seattle Seahawks. There are plenty of postseason ramifications at stake that will be decided by the outcome tonight, making this primetime showdown a can’t-miss one.

Philadelphia is currently the NFL’s top team, with the NFC East title just a formality at this juncture and a postseason bye becoming more certain each passing game. The Eagles boast the best record (10-1) and longest winning streak (nine) out there, while also leading the pack in point differential (+160) and points per game (31.9), making them arguably the toughest group to top in the league.

Seattle would normally be up to the challenge, especially at home, but have been dealing with a number of injuries—especially amongst members of its stalwart secondary, the “Legion of Boom”—that have the team performing uncharacteristically inconsistent and, at 7-4, clawing for a Wild Card spot instead of the pacing the race for the NFC West crown. Still, the team is not going to back down—definitely not in front of a nationally televised audience—and should put up a heck of a fight this evening against Philadelphia.

Oddsmakers are expecting Philly to run away with its 10th straight victory, installing the conference’s top squad as a four-point favorite. The line moved all the way up to Eagles -6 at one point, but has since been bet back down with those believing it won’t go so easy for them in the Pacific Northwest. Is Jon Price of SportsInformationTraders.com amongst those that believe the Seahawks have a chance, or does the Las Vegas betting pro foresee a convincing Philadelphia win?

Before we get to Price’s expert prediction for Sunday Night Football, take a quick look at the final odds, complete schedule, start times and TV information for every game in Week 13 of the 2017 NFL season:

Primetime Pick: Seattle Seahawks Vs. Philadelphia Eagles

The Seahawks-Eagles matchup is a relatively uncommon one, with 15 total meetings dating back to the first in 1976, the year that Seattle joined the league as an expansion team. The organizations have met three times since the 2010 campaign, with the Seahawks sweeping the set. Seattle’s run of dominance against Philly actually dates back to 2005, as it has won five of the six meetings in that span. Here’s how each of those contests shook out:

Date Result
Dec 5, 2005 SEA 42 – PHI 0
Dec 2, 2007 SEA 28 – PHI 24
Nov 2, 2008 PHI 26 – SEA 7
Dec 1, 2011 SEA 31 – PHI 14
Dec 7, 2014 SEA 24 – PHI 14
Nov 20, 2016 SEA 26 – PHI 15

If last year’s meeting between these opponents—which also took place at CenturyLink Field—is any indication, we should see a hard-fought game this evening. The Eagles put up a valiant effort against a loaded Seahawks defense, with quarterback Carson Wentz going 23-of-45 passing for 218 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions in just his 10th career start. Wentz has improved drastically since the 2016 campaign, emerging as one of the NFL’s top signal-callers in 2017.
